 Carmel Apple Salad

For MAINTENANCE

 
4 apples chopped (with peeling)
1 15 oz can crushed pineapple, undrained
½ tub Cool Whip
½ box butterscotch pudding mix (sugar-free)
1 T Divinci carmel syrup
 
Mix dry pudding mix into pineapple and stir in remaining ingredients.
Total recipe is 6 fruits.

1 HMR vanilla shake
½ box butterscotch pudding mix (sugar-free)
1 T Divinci carmel syrup
 
Mix dry pudding mix into pineapple and stir in remaining ingredients.
Total recipe is 6 fruits.  1 Shake



Fruit Salad

3 cans of chunky fruit, so sugar added (or fruit cocktail) save the juice from 2 cans
1 can cherry pie filling sweetened with splenda
1 box sugar free french vanilla pudding mix (dry)

Mix the pudding mix with the juice saved from the fruit. Add drained fruit and cherry pie filling.

1 cup equals 1 fruit.

This is a delicious recipe, good enough for company!!


New entree ideas:

Try baking the turkey chili mixed with chicken pasta parmesan or chicken creole.

Spray a pie pan with Pam. Spread the entrees out and bake 400 for 30 minutes. A great new taste!! You will be surprised at the taste change when you bake the entrees.


Snow Peas and Carrots with Ginger

 

6 oz. frozen snow peas*

1 lb. frozen whole baby carrots

¼ t ground ginger

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Steam or microwave snow peas and carrots until tender. Drain. Sprinkle with seasonings. Serve warm or chilled.
(one cup counts as one vegetable serving)

 

*Sugar snap peas may be substituted for snow peas.

 

 

Corn and Black Bean Salad

 

1 15 oz. can black beans, rinsed

1 15 oz can whole kernel corn, drained

4 Roma tomatoes, diced
garlic salt to taste

 

Mix together and add garlic powder to taste. Chill and serve.
(3/4 cup counts as one vegetable serving)

 


Pistachio Shake

 

1 HMR vanilla shake

1 c crushed pineapple, drained

1 T Pistachio sugar-free jello pudding powder

6 oz cold water

Ice cubes

 

Put water into the blender. Start the blender and add shake mix and pistachio pudding mix. Add pineapple and ice cubes. Blend until thick. Enjoy!!
(counts as 1 shake, 1 fruit and 25 condiment calories)

 

 

Green Bean Casserole

1 Mushroom Risotto Entrée

1 can French style green beans, drained

½ c chopped onion-or onion powder to taste

 

Spray casserole dish lightly with Pam. Spread green beans in oven safe dish. Top with onions or onion powder. Spread entrée on top. Bake in 350 oven for 30-40 minutes until brown and crisp on top.

(counts as 1 entree and 2 servings of vegetables)
